The Federal Securities Commission (FKTsB) has released new rules obligating companies that issue stock to disclose information about themselves to news agencies, in print, and on the Internet. The resolution on disclosure appeared in the official "Rossiiskaya gazeta" on 2 October; it goes into effect on 13 October. FKTsB head Igor Kostikov explained that the measure is aimed at combating insider trading, Interfax reported on 2 October.
