CPAs who perform business valuations will soon have authoritative standards to follow. A new round of AICPA Business Valuation Standards is up for review as a result of comments and feedback on the first draft sent out last fall. Michigan's Ed Dupke, CPA, ABV chairs the Business Valuation Standards Writing Task Force. He reports many excellent comments were received and incorporated into the second draft of the AICPA Business Valuation Standards.
The second draft was circulated in late July on a limited basis to those who provided substantive comments on the first draft. This limited second circulation is for the purpose of obtaining feedback prior to the public exposure ...
