Q: I sold a 1981 Yamaha 650 Midnight Maxim to a friend who is now having a problem finding parts for it. He says the alternator is bad and none of the local shops can help him find a new one. Can you please let me know if there is any place where he might find one? If not an '81, then maybe another year that would work.
