West Virginia wants to help more pregnant women, new mothers, and children get healthy diets. The state Department of Health and Human Resources' Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, or WIC, is promoting its services through a campaign called "WIC helps you help your family." The program provides food coupons for at-risk children up to age 5, pregnant women, and new or nursing mothers within 185 percent of the federal poverty level.
