For all its cultural diversity, you might not necessarily expect Birmingham to be at the cutting edge of flamenco dance. But that would be to reckon without Ana Garcia.
Already well established in the city as a flamenco teacher (she is married to Mark O'Brien, bass clarinettist with the CBSO), Garcia has now established her own company in partnership with dancer and choreographer Felipe de Algeciras.
