AAPA international RPK growth slowed to 5.2%, because of concerns over the imminent Iraq war, and because of the timeframe in which Chinese New Year fell. The number of pax increased by 3.9%, to 8.6 million. International scheduled services offered 51 billion ASKs, up a little too much at 12.6%, while RPKs were 45 billion. As a result the seat load Factor slipped by five points, to 71.1%. It was a good month for Vietnam Airlines (+19.6%), Korean (+18%)and Malaysia Airlines (+10.8%).
