CLEVELAND, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Claire M. Young, R.N., MBA, director of the Office of Quality Management, has been appointed The Cleveland Clinic's new Chief Nursing Officer.
In her new role, Young will expand upon the use of new technologies for nurses caring for both patients who are hospitalized as well as those who need only office visits. She also will focus on weaving quality into every aspect of patient care to further improve the already excellent outcomes and satisfaction of patients. Furthermore, Young will work toward building the nursing staff employed at The Cleveland Clinic and creatively staffing the shifts to best support patient care.
