Cheating on professional licensing exams is increasing on the state and national level, a state regulator said.
"We are calling it an arms race because pervasiveness and ability to do it are increasing by leaps and bounds," said Barbara Showers, Ph.D., director of the state Department of Regulation and Licensing's office of education and examinations.
"This year we had as many instances in Wisconsin as in the past 20 years," Showers said during a Madison workshop Tuesday for members of state regulatory boards that oversee dozens of professions including architects, barbers, chiropractors, dentists and ...
