Oct. 16--Officials from Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties are to present a plan today to the L.A. City Council to create a regional airport plan that focuses on developing March Inland Port and the former military airfields in San Bernardino and Victorville for civilian uses.
The newly formed consortium of aviation interests is now looking inland for a site, since El Toro appears to be dead as a commercial airport.
