Union pickets Stew Leonard's construction site in Danbury
Members of United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 210 are protesting construction of the second, multimillion-dollar Stew Leonard's Store in Danbury, claiming that one of the area's largest dairy stores is anti-union.
Last week, the union purchased full-page advertisements in several newspapers urging patrons of the popular Norwalk-based grocery store to boycott the company and shop for Easter holiday purchases elsewhere.
