The greatest challenges facing our industry revolve around environmental issues -- both indoor and outdoor. In order to meet its challenges, we must improve the educational level of industry members, especially in the area of energy utilization.
We must use existing technologies already contained in standards. And we must continue to support research in order to advance the science of the hvacr industry.
Education must be addressed on all levels, beginning with what students learn in school through continuing education programs, programs which are critical so that practitioners stay current with rapidly changing technologies.
