Environment Canada: New Doppler Radar Facility Opens Today.

DRYDEN, ONTARIO, Oct 15, 2003 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX)

The Honourable Robert D. Nault, Member of Parliament for Kenora-Rainy River, announced today on behalf of the Honourable David Anderson, Minister of the Environment, that the Northwest Ontario Doppler Radar has joined Canada's cross-country network of weather radars. The Northwest Ontario radar facility becomes the 28th Doppler Radar in the Canadian network.
