FASHION INDUSTRIES GUILD PARTY AS OLIVE BRANCH; THE APPAREL INDUSTRY TURNS OUT FOR THE ANNUAL FASHION INDUSTRIES GUILD BENEFIT -- AND RAISES A HALF-MILLION DOLLARS.

The Fashion Industries Guild annual fund-raiser once again brought together 600 members of the apparel industry to raise money for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It also honored the owners of Strategic Partners Inc. and its division Cherokee Uniforms.

Michael Singer, Scott Sigman, Robert Pierpoint and Susan Nunez, who founded the companies through a management buyout of the uniform division assets of Cherokee Inc., already contribute to children's programs at Cedars-Sinai and the Children's Museum of Los Angeles.

In addition, the hundreds who turned out at the 47th annual FIG charity dinner dance October 4 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills helped ...
