Sony-Time Warner Work on Dual CD-DVD Disk Scheme.

The London Financial Times this week uncovered a report of a mystery double-sided music CD-DVD hybrid, one side of which stores video and the other music, that's supposed to coming from Sony and the newly restyled Time Warner.

The ostensible reason for the new dual-format disk is because CD sales are falling and DVD sales are rising, but no pricing has been mentioned and in fact neither company has owned up to the story yet. It could just as easily mean that music will now be sold with music videos on the other side for roughly the same price ...
