Q. Is this new "white" tea I've seen really tea? Is it as good for you as black and green teas?

A. Yes, white tea--so far a relative rarity amongst teas--is a real tea that is a new contender in the healthful beverage market. And it's not a "fluff" entry; researchers are discovering it contains even higher levels of cancer-fighting catechins than green tea.

Why "White"? Produced primarily in the mountains of China, white tea comes from the same tea plant (Camellia sinensis) as green, oolong and black teas.
