Danfoss opens $22 million factory in China.(Supplier News)(Brief Article)

BALTIMORE -- Danfoss, a manufacturer of electronic and mechanical components, has opened a new factory in Tianjin, China. The Danfoss factory has over 500,000 square feet and will serve as the major production base in China and Asia.

Danfoss has been manufacturing in China since 1997, but product demands outpaced the production capacity of the plant. The new, expanded facility will serve as production site for solenoid valves, expansion valves, check valves, sight glasses, condensing units, scroll compressors, radiator thermostats, and frequency converters for worldwide markets.
