SAN DIEGO, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The San Diego Telecom Council (SDTC) today announced the formation of the Wireless WAN Coalition (WWC), an SDTC Special Interest Group (SIG) which will work to educate the San Diego enterprise market and build awareness of broadband mobile wireless wide-area network (WAN) data technology and service. The WWC's first public event is scheduled for Nov. 18. Marni Walden, Southern California president for Verizon Wireless, will discuss her company's new BroadbandAccess service in San Diego based on CDMA2000(R) 1xEV-DO technology. Exact time and location for the first WWC public event will be announced in early November.
