This year's Thanksgiving Day (November 27th) five-mile run/walk down Belle Meade Boulevard celebrates the Boulevard Bolt's tenth year of helping the homeless in Middle Tennessee. This event, organized by the congregations of Immanuel Baptist Church, St. George's Episcopal Church and The Temple, has grown in numbers of participants and funds raised every year since its inception in 1994.

On Thanksgiving Day 2002, more than 5,700 individuals participated in the Bolt, raising $80,000 for grants to seven agencies serving homeless individuals and families in Middle Tennessee. ...
