Amid a sluggish global economy with most businesses either shifting gears or closing shops, 15-year-old Abacus International, Asia Pacifics leading in Global Distribution Services (GDS), recently revved up its corporate image as the regions top travel and leisure catalyst via a new impressive trade icon launch.

The major event, which stormed Singapore last July with Abacus president and chief executive officer Don A. Birch at the helm, did another take in Manila last week to affirm Abacus as a 21st century master brand to vie with.
