Oct. 21--ONTARIO, Calif.--Artists Judy Chicago and Donald Woodman were honored as the first artists in residence of the future Emporia Arts District on Monday night.
Local artists mingled with city officials and developers on West Emporia Street for a reception for the $5 million downtown project by Arteco Partners, headed by brothers Jerry and Ed Tessier.
"We're thrilled to be supported by the Tessiers," Chicago said.
