Oct. 22--APPLETON, Wis.--An alliance formed between two consulting firms hopes to bolster the state's 150-year-old paper industry.
For 50 years Wisconsin has been the nation's leading papermaking state, but challenges to the future of the industry threaten its economic well-being.
"The paper industry is really struggling with the electronic mode and foreign competition," said Dennis Hultgren, president of the newly minted Hultgren & Associates, Appleton.
