Atlantic Amber wins silver medal
NEW YORK - Atlantic Amber, a "steam-style" beer produced by the New England Brewing Co. in Norwalk, proudly took home the silver medal in its first ever competition.
The competition this year was held at the Riverrun Cafe and Gallery in New York City and included participants from mostly large scale industrial breweries from the northeast. New England Brewing Co., the smallest and newest of the competing breweries, fell one point short of winning first place in the blind tasting from a field of 12 candidates.
