Are you a Republican? How moral are you?
In 1987, Anne Wilson Schaef wrote When Society Becomes an Addict. She presciently stated, ``Our society is deteriorating at an alarming rate. . . . Rather than looking for ways to change, we are becoming more conservative, more complacent, more defensive of the status quo.'' She added that the same processes that describe an addict are ``what hold the (social) system together.'' We are, without a doubt, a society addicted to money.
