24 OCTOBER 2003 HONIARA (Pacnews) --- Nearly all economic and trade indicators have shown growth in the second quarter of 2003, says Ric Hou, governor of the Solomon Islands Central Bank.
These include a number of industries in the expert sector such as logs, cocoa and copra.
Mr Hou said log production increased by 13 percent compared to the last quarter. "By the end of this year, Solomon Islands will record its highest production in the logging sector throughout its history."
