Oct. 25--HIDALGO, Texas-- Minor traffic and food issues were some of the headaches people endured at Thursday's opening night concert at Dodge Arena.
The city police department had eight officers handling traffic control and 13 employees working inside the building, fire marshal Lt. Homero Garza said Friday afternoon.
"For the first event, things went smooth," he said. "It was kind of expected that we would have a problem with traffic. That is one of the reasons the (police) chief (Vernon Rosser) decided to keep people over." Officers were at the intersection ...
