Oct. 26--Christmas decorating is big business.
U.S. sales of holiday lights, decorations and trees ran to $6.4 billion in 2001, according to Unity Marketing.
There seems to be little call, however, for services to help put up those billions and billions of multicolored minibulbs, strands of tinsel and glowing Santas.
Of course, it's part of the holiday tradition for homeowners to break out their ladders and warm sweaters soon after Thanksgiving to hang icicle lights along the eaves and fences, and to trudge to that usually vacant lot or distant farm ...
