In recognition of its dedication and commitment to delivering advanced services to rural communities, Baldwin Telecom (Baldwin, Wis.) received the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)/Rural Utilities Service's (RUS) Certificate of Achievement, at an awards ceremony in Baldwin on June 18.
Presented by Frank Frassetto, state director of USDA rural development, the award not only recognized Baldwin Telecom for being the first incumbent local exchange carrier to secure RUS funding to deploy fiber to the home, but also the company's commitment to forming community partnerships to boost economic development.
