The House of Representatives yesterday abruptly declared an early adjournment of session and effectively put off the transmittal to the Senate of the articles of impeachment against Supreme Court Chief Justice Hilario Davide.
The House took this action as the Supreme Court issued an order calling for maintenance of the status quo by all concerned, in effect stopping the House and the Senate from acting on the Davide impeachment complaint.
