Coming into the homestretch, opponents and proponents of a proposed $2 billion water bond authorization in Colorado are still lining up to make contributions to their respective causes.

According to campaign finance reports filed Monday, backers of Referendum A have raised more than double the amount of money raised by foes of the ballot question. If approved Tuesday, the referendum would authorize the Colorado Water Conservation Board to issue up to $2 billion of revenue bonds to finance water projects statewide.
