BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Crammed with orange-and-black-clad fans who threw candy into the air to celebrate Bowling Green touchdowns, Doyt Perry Stadium resembled a 31,007-person Halloween party held one week prematurely.
But for No. 12 Northern Illinois, it turned into a haunted house.
There were no treats for the Huskies on Saturday in a 34-18 loss to No. 23 Bowling Green. The Falcons (7-1, 4-0 MAC) dominated the Huskies (7-1, 3-1), who watched their undefeated record and BCS hopes vanish on national television. NIU entered the game as one of four Division I-A unbeatens.
