The recent deadly violence at the University of Washington will be recorded by one of the main state groups tracking the crime as one domestic-violence fatality - unless it's counted as two.
It depends on what constitutes domestic violence and who's doing the counting.
Fifty-nine people in King County died as a result of domestic violence from 2002 through 2005, based on police reports compiled by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs.
