In an election year in which economic plans would seem to be the prime concerns of gubernatorial candidates, in Indiana the big questions revolve around health records and name recognition.

With the election coming about 14 months after Gov. Frank O'Bannon died of a massive stroke, candidates seeking the Indiana governor's mansion were asked to submit their medical records. Some of the eight announced candidates appeared rather hesitant to do that, refusals that could have some fallout on Election Day.
