Practically every company in existence has a basic need for high quality data. To get information that is on time and reliable, implement a customer data quality program at the point of entry.

Why at the Point of Entry? According to a March 2002 TDWI report, "Data Quality and the Bottom Line," 76 percent of respondents said the number one source of data quality problems is data entry by employees. The report also goes on to state that data quality problems cost U.S. businesses over $600 billion per year.
