Mr. Chairman, Senator Levin, members of the Committee. Let me begin today by thanking the committee for inviting General Jumper (Air Force Chief of Staff), Ms. Mary Walker (Air Force General Counsel) and myself to update you on our actions regarding the Air Force Academy, as well as to provide you with some context for evaluating our approach to these problems and the decisions we have made.
