A BRITISH scholar claimed last night that he had located the original Garden of Eden in Eastern Turkey.
Michael Sanders said he made the discovery by analysing satellite photographs from Nasa, the U.S.space agency.
Mr Sanders, 60, who grew up in Leeds and now lives in California, added that his research indicates that all the earliest Bible stories occurred in what is now Turkey, and not in the Persian Gulf as previously believed.
