WANT a winter weekend which is fun, furious and fast? Then fly off to the Moroccan city of Fez via Casablanca - and instead of 'Play it again Sam', be transported back even further to a place of hidden history which is still going strong today.
Fez is an Islamic city built in the 8th Century, seemingly unchanged and secreted away behind several miles of innocuous-looking, biscuit-coloured walls - we couldn't wait to get inside. And since the Koran suggests concentrating on the inner heart, rather than the outer dressing, this seemed most appropriate.
