PROJECT OVERVIEW:
According to William J. Shaw, President of US-based MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL INC., his company is planning to build 4 new resorts that will include its mid-prices Courtyard hotels and a new extended-stay hotel in the Middle East. Both units, of undisclosed cost, are scheduled to open for business within the next 30 months.
Construction plans call for building the company's mid-priced Courtyard by Marriott brand in Kuwait City, Kuwait, and in the Emirate of Dubai some time next year.
