Abstract: The cause of disparities in the reproductive outcomes among African American women continues to elude health researchers and professionals. While stress has been identified as a health risk factor, researchers have called for a reexamination of the measures and methods employed in investigations aimed at uncovering the link between stress and reproductive health outcomes.
