Nov. 4--LAS CRUCES, N.M.--Grants native Paul Gutierrez is returning to New Mexico to head his home state's Cooperative Extension Service in December, New Mexico State University announced last week.
The NMSU program, through its county agents, runs youth, agriculture and family education programs affiliated with every county government and several tribes in the state. They serve about 50,000 4-H members, 14,000 farms and ranches, and New Mexican households, the school said.
