Nov. 5--WASHINGTON--Internet companies have had some tough times in the past few years.
Wichita's Pixius Communications is no exception.
But in a talk at the Federal Communications Commission headquarters Tuesday, company president Jay Maxwell said hard knocks have served his company well.
"The technology has gotten better, and the staff experience has helped tremendously," said Maxwell, who participated in an FCC forum on wireless broadband Internet providers in rural areas.
