WITH the weather turning cold and miserable,it's getting harder and harder to drag yourself out of bed for work on those dark early mornings.
Most people would much rather stay tucked up warm under the du vet and forget about work.
And quite a few do just that,avoiding the work issue by ringing in and pulling a sickie.
Sickies are,of course,often genuine. But perhaps just as often, they aren't --and that includes not just the odd day skiving,but longer absences that require a sick note.
In fact, recent research shows nine out of 10 human resource managers think doctors issue sick notes too easily.
