During its theatrical release, many critics wrote off Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights as the comedian's return to moronic form after the momentary diversion of Punch-Drunk Love. While it is moronic (at best), its major problem is that it isn't a return to form, but that it is even worse form than Sandler's The Waterboy or Little Nicky--and it's definitely not meant for children.
