NEW YORK -- New York-based Claudia Ciuti has struck a deal with Betsey Johnson to produce a footwear line for fall '04.
Roberto Angiolucci, president of Claudia Ciuti's operating company, C.C. Calzature Ltd., said the one-year agreement signed last week will include three seasons of shoes under the Betsey Johnson label. Ciuti will also handle distribution, targeting high-end department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, specialty stores and retailers in Europe and Asia.
