According to the analysis report by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association (CPCIA), during the third quarter China's petroleum and chemical industry continued with fast increasing production, booming import/ export trade, successful readjustment on product mix and making great progress in developing new products. Among the 106 chemical products supervised by CPCIA, 89 had an output increase during the third quarter. In September, among the 132 chemicals traced by CPCIA, 96 showed price hike and the reminder 36 reduced their market prices.
