AGOURA HILLS - The organizers of Thursday afternoon's Marmonte League cross country championships sent a parent on a bicycle to guide runners through the various twists and turns of the 3-mile Agoura High course.
But no one knew that rider would look like Lance Armstrong by the time Royal of Simi Valley junior Dylan Jaedtke and Agoura senior Lisa Novik were done with their runaway victories.
Both runners led from start to finish Thursday - with Jaedtke finishing just 15 seconds off the 1994 course record set by Thousand Oaks' Keith O'Doherty - and turned two dominating performances.
