OWENSBORO -- A western Kentucky hotel owner who wants to build a casino if expanded gambling is legalized said voters in his home county let him down on Election Day.
Executive Inn Rivermont owner John Bays supported Democrat Ben Chandler based on Chandler's pro-gaming stance. Bays has pledged to build a $200 million downtown entertainment complex for Owensboro that included a casino if the state approves expanded gambling.
