Nov. 7--COURIER HIKES DIVIDEND, WILL SPLIT STOCK: Shareholders at Courier Corp. got an early Christmas gift from the company's Board of Directors yesterday, as the company reported record sales and profits for fiscal 2003.
Courier, which makes, prints and sells books, said it would reward its investors with a 17 percent boost in its quarterly dividend, as well as split its shares 3-for-2. Both moves take effect on Dec. 5 and will benefit those who hold shares as of Nov. 17.
