Nov. 7--A Mayo Clinic employee is suing the institution, alleging that all salaried employees have been shorted a day's worth of wages every year since 1997.
The employees, including highly paid managers, have not received full pay each year since then, claims the lawsuit, which was filed by James V. Budziszek in Olmsted District Court on Thursday. The suit names both Mayo Clinic in Rochester and Mayo Foundation, and it seeks class-action status. A judge must decide whether a suit can be classified as class action.
