Group's goal: $7m for people with disabilities.(Ability Beyond Disability)

Elliot Finkelstein says Ability Beyond Disability was more than helpful to him after his son Michael suffered a brain injury in a 1981 car accident.

So Elliott and Michael's two brothers, Steven and Peter, have been more than willing for their Mount Kisco Truck & Auto Supply to hire three employees with disabilities placed by the group in recent years. The current employee, Adrian Chandler, carries out housekeeping and custodial duties.

"He's never missed a day of work. He never complains. He's an outstanding employee," Steven Finkelstein said. "He definitely fits in. It's working out great."
