Duke Street Capital, the European buy-out firm, has lost three of its team of 20 specialists in the UK.Patrick Maxwell has left his position as partner to set up on his own, although he will start by working as an adviser to Duke Street. Maxwell, who specialises in the media sector, will introduce deals to the firm and receive a share in any profits Duke Street makes on those deals.
Investment specialists Giles Cheek and Alex Cooper-Evans have also left the firm. A spokesman praised their abilities, but said it was trying to alter its mix of skills.
